Meet Our Doctors


Dr. David Dueck

     Dr. Dueck graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1984 and is passionate about Optometry. After two years working in Chatham, he opened a practice in Stoney Creek and was privileged to practice there until 2018.

     Dr. Dueck was raised in this area and moved back here with his wife in 1997 to raise their family of five children. The Beamsville practice was opened in 1998 and was relocated to its current location in 2012. Dr. Dueck practices exclusively in Beamsville.

     He is passionate about family focused Optometry. Areas of special interest include managing dry eye, cataract, macular degeneration and glaucoma.

     One of Dr. Dueck’s sons, Benjamin, is presently in Optometry School and is planning to join the practice. David is invested in the community through leadership in the Convos youth organization.

     Dr. Dueck is a member in good standing with the College of Optometrists in Ontario, the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists. He is legally qualified in prescribing therapeutical pharmaceutical agents.

Dr. Lindsay Martin

     Dr. Martin graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 2015. She was born and raised in Beamsville, and completed her Bachelor of Science at Brock University. During her professional training, Dr. Martin completed clinical externships at the Toronto Eye Clinic, the South Boston Community Health Center in Boston, Massachusetts, and at Veteran’s Affairs Hospitals in both Newington, Connecticut, and Buffalo, New York. Her clinical experiences provided her with a vast knowledge in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of ocular diseases, pediatric care, and contact lens fittings.

     Lindsay is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists. She is also certified in the prescribing of Ocular Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents, and always welcomes new patients.
